It all started during my trip to Istanbul with my husband, Fakher.

Istanbul is an AMAZING city with so much colours and culture, I just had an amazing time there and don’t get me started on the shopping!

So, we decided to go to a ‘Turkish Hamam’, the experience is was slightly odd at first because of the fact that a stranger had to start scrubbing my body! Nonetheless, between the scrubbing, the massaging and the sauna, I was feeling so refreshed and soothed I absolutely loved it.

Anyway, the entire time, the women who were treating me referred to me as “sultana”. It was so perfect for that specific moment and the feeling that came with the whole pampering and I absolutely loved it! And so, because I loved that feeling as much as I love the feeling when I dress fashionably, I decided to name my blog ‘The Sultana’.
